Before our session with Les Brown, I had the privilege of meeting him during dinner. He came and sat at our table for a few minutes as he was making his rounds, greeting and talking to people. Les has a very serious and quiet side to his personality, which I was able to discern from speaking with him. He asked us questions about the Internet marketing business, about our expectations and how we were going to be successful at it. I knew that to be successful I should heed the advice of all the speakers and make some changes. I just couldn’t believe my good fortune sitting opposite this larger-than-life, successful individual. I wanted to know more about him and how he got to where he is today. Let me tell you a secret, the stage transforms Les Brown into an extremely lively and comical individual. He is full of life and laughter. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Les speak. It’s such a pleasure watching a person enjoying their profession. Les also had his personal story and struggles growing up as a young boy. The struggles he had made him determined to succeed in life. He told us, “Don’t let anyone tell you that you are a failure and can’t accomplish your desires.” Each speaker reminded us of this in their own special way, and I firmly agree with them.
